How to use essential oils in the home

Room Spray : Add chosen oils to 1 teaspoon of alcohol (vodka , brandy). Then add pre-boiled water to fill up your spray bottle

Bed : Put a couple of drops of oil on a cotton wool pad & tuck under your pillow

Bed linen / towels : add a few drops of your chosen blend to the rinsing water in the washing machine. Sprinkle a few drops ontoa cotton wool ball & place between linen / towels in the drawers or cupboards

Woodwork anywhere in the house : Add 3—4 drops to the water when you are washing down the woodwork or windows in the home

Shake ‘n’ Vac: a natural carpet freshener to use anywhere in the house

2 cups bicarbonate of soda

4 tablespoons of un-perfumed talc

20 drops lavender

20 drops lemon oil

10 drops cinnamon oil

10 drops pine oil

Mix all ingredients together. Leave for 4 days to blend. When ready to use sprinkle onto carpet , leave overnight or as long as possible before vacuuming

Put a few drops of your favourite essential oil onto the filter pad of the vacuum cleaner—fills the room with lovely aromas while you vacuum !

Bug Buster Blend : a natural way to help get rid of grime & bacteria

 10 drops lemon oil

3 drops pine oil

1 drop cinnamon

1 drop tea tree oil

1 teaspoon vinegar

1 tablespoon bicarbonate of soda

Add to warm water & use to wipe down surfaces in the kitchen. Use to mop the floor
