You’ve booked in for a reflexology treatment and understandably you would like to know what happens !
Reflexology treatments take up to an hour either in the comfort of my therapy room or your own home , whichever you prefer.
A detailed consultation will take place on your first visit ( so please allow a little more time on this visit)
You will be asked to remove your shoes & socks and sit on a special reclining chair.
Your treatment begins ( & ends) with a soothing , relaxing foot massage which will help to warm the feet before the reflexology treatment begins
Then, using a light , firm massage to the soles and uppers of your feet using talc , the reflex points on the soles & uppers of the feet are pressed.
Some areas of the foot may feel a little tender or sore when being pressed. This is normal and can suggest imbalances within the body.
Don’t worry if you have ticklish feet , the treatment is very precise and quite firm.
After your treatment you will be given aftercare advice so you can fully benefit from your treatment.
Always check with your GP before having a treatment if you are pregnant , have a heart condition or are diabetic
