Welcome !

My name's Jo Woolley & my interest in complementary therapies was awakened after experiencing chiropractic treatments for a bad back in 1989; the experience heralded  a change in my way of thinking with regards to conventional medicine & I began to realise there was a more holistic approach to treating myself.

At the beginning of 2005, with the support of my partner, I resigned from my position as an Accounts Manager and enrolled on an Open College Network Body Massage course, an Aromatherapy taster course and an ITEC Diet & Nutrition course and I was hooked!!

This led me to study for a VTCT Holistic Therapies Diploma covering Swedish Body Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology( including Japanese Hand & Facial reflexology), Indian Head Massage and Advanced Massage. Since qualifying I have completed a VTCT Diploma in Hopi Ear Candling, a VTCT Teaching qualification in Infant Massage Instruction and new to my portfolio Hot Stones Therapy

I thoroughly enjoy what I do & strongly believe in continuing to develop  and update my skills as a therapist by regularly attending courses, seminars & adding to my already 'groaning' bookshelves - much to my partner's dismay( I think its because he wants the bookshelf space for himself !!)

I have a  holistic business working from my own therapy room and from Nottingham Road Clinic, a private medical clinic in Mansfield.

In addition to my existing clients  I work in the community on projects which help to highlight the benefits of using complementary therapies.

I teach complementary therapy courses at two local colleges.
